Accelerated growth across all sectors of the business has led to investment by ESP in the size and structure of its sales team to ensure the company continues to deliver the first class service its customers have come to expect.
A reduction in the size of each of the areas covered will allow the sales managers to offer a more concentrated focus on fewer customers, and at the same time brand new team members have been appointed to cover the increased number of UK sales regions.
Bill Monaghan takes up the position of area sales manager for the South East Region. Having spent four years in electrical wholesaling, the last 12 years has seen Bill working with a number of leading electrical manufacturing companies.
Covering Scotland is new area sales manager, Mark Shields, who brings with him eight years’ experience in the electrical industry including roles with a leading wholesaler and manufacturer.
Mark Faulkner is the newly appointed area sales manager for the Northern Home Counties territory. Mark has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, including time spent as an electrician on domestic and commercial projects. The past 10 years were spent in a sales role with a manufacturing company dealing with electrical wholesalers, buying groups and contractors.
The new appointees join the existing area sales managers and they will all operate under the remit of the Regional Sales Managers appointed earlier this year. Lynsey Gray is responsible for the Northern Sales Team, while David Hunnisett has responsibility for the Southern Sales Team.
Comments Neil Baldwin, sales director: “We have continued to invest significantly in new product development across all our security product categories – door entry, CCTV, fire protection, and emergency lighting – and have seen steady growth as a result. With more demand on the sales team, this restructuring and expansion will ensure that our hugely talented people can continue to build and develop strong relationships at national and regional levels with new and existing customers.”
