ESP Launches New Espire Emergency Call Point with 10-year Lithium Battery

ESP Launches New Espire Emergency Call Point with 10-year Lithium Battery

ESP has expanded its Espire domestic fire detection range with the launch of its new Emergency Call Point, delivering a practical and reliable solution for manual alarm activation across a wide range of applications, including HMOs and social housing.

Designed to operate as part of the Espire alarm system using ESP’s RF-Link wire-free technology, the new emergency call point is powered by a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery, providing long-term reliability while significantly simplifying installation.

The wire-free design removes the need for mains wiring to the device, making it particularly suitable for retrofit projects or installations where cable installation is difficult, disruptive or cost prohibitive. This allows contractors and installers to complete installations quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of finish.

Key features include:

  • Powered by a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery for long-term reliability.
  • Enables manual activation of connected Espire alarm sounders, allowing occupants to raise an alert quickly and easily.
  • Features a clear, front-facing LED indicator for simple visual confirmation of operational status.
  • Supplied with a 1-gang back box as standard for straightforward installation.
  • Includes an easy-to-use resettable element for fast reinstatement after activation.
  • Complete with a protective cover to help prevent accidental activation.
